54. Nothing in this Ordinance shall affect or he deemed to affect the rights of His Majesty the King His Heirs or Successors, or of any bodies politic or corporate, or other persons except such as are mentioned in this Ordinance and those claiming by, from or under them.

SCHEDULE.

The follollowing annual rates (payable quarterly in advance) shall be paid by subscribers, with effect on and from the 1st day of July, 1925 :

(a) $108 per exchange line within (1) Victoria and Kowloon, as defined by the Interpretation Ordi- nance, 1911 and (7) within the Peak District, as defined by the Peak District Reservation Ordinance, 1904, but substituting "700 feet " for 788 feet ".

() $108 per exchange line within a radius of one mile from any exchange that may hereafter be opened outside the areas referred to in (").

(e) An additional charge of $50 per mile or part of a mile measured outwards from the nearest point of the boundary of the areas referred to in (a) and (b).

(d) For extension telephones, bells, switches, switch-

boards, power-circuits, removals, and services of like nature, such rates as the Governor in Council may approve.
